The Enterprise, Sept. 12, 1905

Death of Mrs. Greer
  Mrs. Jno. Greer, who lived near Alcovy, died Friday morning at six o'clock
after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Greer was well known over this 
county and was a woman of exemplary character and held in high esteem by all.
She is survived by three children, Mrs. J. T. Swords, Messrs Carlton and Paul
Greer. She was interred in the cemetery here Saturday morning.
