Floral Tribute to Gen. Gordon
  The Ladies Memorial Association of Covington sent a beautiful
floral tribute to Gen. Gordon on Wednesday. A feeble expression
of their high esteem, great love and admiration for our noble
chieftain.
  Feeling that in Gen. Gordon's death the whole South has suffered
an untold and unbearable loss, and one which we deeply mourn. Our
heartfelt sympathies go out to his bereaved family.
