Death of Miss Octavia George
  Miss Octavia George, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth George, died at the home
of her mother about five miles above Oxford last Thursday after an illness
of several weeks. She was a consecrated christian lady and held the esteem
and love of the entire community.
  Miss George was about fifty years of age and leaves a mother, three sisters
and five brothers to mourn her death, besides a host of friends and 
relatives. The funeral took place at Macedonia church Friday in the 
presence of a large concourse of people.
  THE NEWS extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
