Georgia Enterprise, August 1, 1895
  "Uncle Tommie" Gregory, who has been sick so long, died last Thursday morning
and was buried in the Hay's family grave yard on Friday. His funeral was
preached by Rev. W. N. Carson in the Presbyterian church here. He was nearly
77 years old and leaves a wife and several children, besides a number of 
relatives and friends to cherish his memory. The bereaved have our sympathy.
