Mrs. L. W. (Emmie) Goddard
  Mrs. L. W. Goddard, formerly Miss Emmie Childs, died at the home of her 
husband in Griffen recently. She was a gentle Christian lady and dearly beloved 
by all who knew her. She was a cousin of our editor, whose deepest sympathies 
go out to the husband and three children in their time of grief and sorrow.
