The Georgia Enterprise, July 15, 1887
  Mrs. Mary Groves, widow of the late Rev. J. J. Groves, died at her son's 
residence in Atlanta, one day not long since. Her remains were brought to 
Covington for interment. She was a noble Christian lady, beloved by all who knew
her. At the time of her death she was 81 years.
