Mr. W. D. Grant Dead
     Mr. William D. Grant, died at his home in Gaither’s district, at 10 
o’clock on Saturday night, the 19th inst.
     Mr. Grant was one of our oldest and best citizens, and had reached the age 
of eighty. He had been prominent in his district for years and had the respect 
of all who knew him.
