LATE NEWS ITEMS, These items came in after many of our papers had been printed.
     We are pained to learn that County School Commissioner N. S. HALLMAN died 
at his home in Newborn Tuesday last.

August 4, 1892
     In the unexpected and untimely death of County School Commissioner, N. S. 
HALLMAN, education loses one of its hardest workers, and the state and county 
one of its best citizens. He was a young man, not more than 25 years old, and 
had only been here a short while. His remains were carried to his old home in 
Greene County for burial.
