MRS. HENRY T. HENRY DIES LAST SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
Was an Excellent Lady and is Survived by Many Relatives and Friends
     On Saturday, August 3rd, as evening shadows deepened, the sweet spirit of 
Mrs. Henry T. Henry passed into the Eternal.
     After many days of pain, endured with great fortitude, how gladly she 
answered the Master’s call and entered into that peace and rest for which her 
tired heart so longed!
     Mrs. Henry was the widow of Dr. Henry T. Henry, who passed away many years 
ago, and is still remembered by many of the older residents of Covington.
     Hers was  a long and useful life, she having passed her 85th birthday. 
Possessing unusual beauty and strength of character, a mind ever alert to all 
things high and noble, she endeared herself to a large circle of friends in 
Georgia and Texas, where she resided a number of years.
     She loved her church and faithfully attended its services until hindered 
by the infirmities of age. The Bible was her daily companion. Her mind was 
stored with its precious promises.
     The memory of her sweet Christian character, her firm unwavering trust in 
God, remains a priceless heritage to those she has left behind.
     The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. T. J. Christian 
from her home Sunday afternoon. Loving hands covered her with flowers, and laid 
her away tenderly - reverently.
     Released at last from all earthly limitations, her beautiful spirit now 
revels in the joy of the higher service, “Forever with the Lord.”
