The Georgia Enterprise, June 22, 1883
     Mrs. William Horton, of Newton Factory, was struck by lightning and 
instantly killed one day last week. She was out in the yard when she received 
the fatal stroke. We tender our condolence to the many friends and relatives
of this good lady whom the Master has so suddenly called to her eternal home. 
She was a most excellent lady and her sad and tragic death is regretted by all 
who knew her.
