Death of Mrs. Hightower
  The unexpected news of the death of Mrs. J. E. Hightower, which
was received here Thursday morning, cast a goom over the entire 
city. Mrs. Hightower had many friends in Covington, made by her
stay of one year's residence when her husband was agent of the
Central Railroad. Her death was due to an operation performed in
Atlanta Wednesday afternoon and during the night death came.
  Her remains were taken down the Georgia railroad Thursday
morning where she was buried at Bishop, her old home.
