E. P. HAMMOND DIES IN ATLANTA Mrs. E. P. Hammond died in Atlanta at the home of her son, Mr. W. T. Hammond at 2 Adair Street on Monday morning, April 26. Mr. and Mrs. Hammond made their home with Mr. Marvin Hammond in Almon. She was sixty eight years of age and a consecrated Christian woman. Funeral and interment were at High Point Wednesday. Rev. N. P. Manning, pastor of Salem charge, assisted by Mr. Moss, conducted the funeral. She leaves her husband, two daughters, Mrs. J. D. Lumsden, and Mrs. J. W. Capes; six sons, W. T., R. F.,and L. W. Hammond,of Atlanta; C. P. and M. D. of Almon and E. H. Hammond, of Kentucky, besides several grand- children and other relatives.
