Georgia Enterprise, August 29, 1895
  Mr. Hugh Haralson died at the home of his brother-in-law, Senator Jno. B.
Gordon, on Friday last. He was a brother of Mrs. Capt. J. M. Pace, of 
Covington, and a brilliant, useful and popular gentleman. He held a lucrative
government position in Savannah and was taken sick several days ago, hoping
to be restored to health he came to the home of General Gordon, where he 
gradually grew weaker until he died. His remains were carried to LaGrange
on Saturday for burial.
