Georgia Enterprise, Feb. 21, 1895
  Mrs. Martha Horton, wife of the late Turner Horton, departed this life on
Feb. 12, 1895. Aged about 77 years. Mrs. Horton was one of the best ladies
in Newton county, having devoted all of her life to the happiness of others.
She leaves a number of children and many relatives and friends to cherish
her sweet and precious memory.
