Georgia Enterprise, Jan. 21, 1897
  Mrs. J. F. M. Hutchins, one of the oldest and best ladies in Newton county, 
died at the home of her husband in Covington, on Tuesday, Jan. 19. To know this 
gentle lady was to esteem and love her. She devoted her long life to making 
others happy. She served the Lord faithfully and was willing and ready to obey 
all His commands. She leaves a devoted husband, several children and many 
kindred and friends to cherish her precious memory. May she sleep
sweetly.

Mrs. J. F. M. Hutchins 

     The body of Mrs. J. F. M. Hutchins was laid to rest in the family section 
of the city cemetery on the afternoon of Jan. 21st. Rev. T. J. Swanson 
conducted the funeral's services at the residence, Rev. L. G. Walker delivered 
a prayer at the cemetery.
