He was in the 97th year of his age when called to his last home. When a young man he served in the memorable campaign of 1812. He was a Methodist and died in the full belief of that glorious faith. For over sixty years he was a citizen of Walton county. For years he had expressed an anxious willingness to answer the Master's call when the summons came. Kindsman, although he was, a more honest or conscientous man never lived or died. May he rest in blissful peace in his silent grave-yard home.
