The Georgia Enterpise, Feb. 18, 1887
  Master Emory Hyer, aged about 12 years, son of Mr. Thomas G. Hyer, died at the
residence of his grand-mother, in Midway, on the 9th inst. He was a bright and 
promising lad and his death will be mourned by all who knew him. He has gone to
join his sainted mother who died some time since. We sympathize with the grief
stricken father, who came from Florida to see his sick boy, but found him dead
when he arrived.
