The Georgia Enterprise, June 24, 1887
  It gives us pain to announce the death of Mr. Robert M. Hutchins, which 
transpired at his residence in this city on Sunday night last, June 19th. Aged
51 years. He had been confined to a bed of sickness for near a month, but was
not thought to be dangerously ill until within a few days of his death. He was
born in South Carolina, but had been a citizen of Georgia for many years. He was
an upright, honest man. He was an industrious man and a consistent Christian. He
leaves a wife and children and many relatives and friends to lament his death.
