P. Hinton, died last Thursday after a short illness. She was a sweet little child dearly beloved by everybody. She was so good during her sickness, never cried for anything. All that medical skill and loving hands could do was done, but God called the little one home with the Angels, for it was too pure for this world. Rev. W. N. Carroll preached her funeral at the Presbyterian church, after which her remains were laid to rest in the family (Hays) cemetery. Her grandfather, Rev. T. H. Greer?, expressed a few words of thanks to the many friends here who were so kind to the family during the sickness, and closed with prayer. The little grave was covered with flowers- she was so fond of flowers.- Weep not dear parents for she has gone to rest. Remember the Scripture, “Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of Heaven.” The bereaved parents have our deepest sympathy.
