Georgia Enterprise,  July 1, 1897
     Miss Maggie Hays one of our most highly esteemed and lovely young ladies 
died last Monday morning after an illness of several weeks. Miss Maggie was one 
of the  ____ _________ _______ ___________ missed so much by every one. She was 
a member of Carmel church and a regular attendant to the Sunday school and 
prayer meeting. She bore her sickness with patience. She was buried at Carmel 
Tuesday morning. The heart stricken relatives have our deepest sympathy.
