E. J. IVY Mrs. E. J. Ivy died at her home in this city on Friday morning, May 13th. Aged about 65 years. She had been sick a long time, but bore her afflictions without complaint. She was a loyal and consistent member of the Methodist church and was one of the most unselfish and charitable ladies we ever knew. She was the mother of Messrs. C. C. and M. F. Brooks, Mrs. George C. Smith and Mrs. Fannie Pennington. She has relatives and friends all over the State who will be pained to hear of her departure, but who will always cherish her sweet and precious memory. The funeral service came off on May 14th and her body was laid to rest in the family section of the city cemetery. Rev. J. A. Timmerman conducted the services, assisted by Rev. T. J. Swanson.
