The Georgia Enterprise, September 29, 1892
Mrs. Maggie JARVIS died at the home of her husband, in Salem, N. C., one day 
last week. Her remains were brought to Newton County for burial. She was a 
daughter of Col. F. M. HOLDER, of Almon. She was kind and benevolent and the 
news of her death will bring pain and sorrow to the hearts of all who knew her.
