The Georgia Enterprise, April 3, 1903

Rev. George Johnson Dead
  Rev. George Johnson, one of the prominent colored men of this
county, died at his home here yesterday of Bright's disease.
  George was in the barber business here for nearly twenty years
until sickness seized him about one year ago when he was forced to
give up his work.
  He was a member of the Baptist church and was pastor of one of
the churches here at one time.
  His funeral will occur today.
