W. Johnson Dies at Oxford Mrs. Sarah Daniel Johnson, wife of Mr. J. W. Johnson, died at her home in Oxford early Monday morning after a short illness. Mrs. Johnson was forty years old and had been a member of the Baptist church since early girlhood. The funeral was conducted from the Honey Creek Baptist church, Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, Rev. Luther Smith conducting the services and interment was in the cemetery at Honey Creek church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Johnson is survived by three daughters, Misses Mary Lou, Pearl and Nannie; four sons, J. D., Willie, Orby and Eugene; five sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Dunn and Mrs. Jesse Puckett, of Atlanta, Mrs. Clara Lackey, Rockdale County, Mrs. Julian Morris, Flippen, Ga., Mrs. Annie Johns, of South Carolina. Additional Comments: Per Joyce Stimson, : "Four of the five sisters listed for Sarah are not her sisters. Rather, they are her sistes-in-law and sisters of her husband, John Wesley Johnson. They are Mrs. Lizzie Dunn, Mrs. Jessie Puckett, Mrs. Clara Lackey, and Mrs. Julia (not Julian) Morris. Mrs. Annie Johns is likely Annie Johnson, another sister of John Wesley and she is my grandmother. Annie married Joseph Calvin Johnson giving me a double Johnson line."
