GEORGIA ITEMS
     Uriah Kellogg, an old man, was found dead Tuesday morning in Jackson, 
supposed to have frozen to death. Mr. Kellogg came to the county before the 
War, from the state of Connecticut. He married into one of the best families in 
the county. He was drum major of the 14th Georgia regiment during the War. He 
has two sons in New York, one in Savannah and one in Louisiana.
