Death of Mrs. Kelly
  Mrs. Jane Kelly of Jasper County died at the extreme age of 86 at the
residence of B. Kelly, her son, near Prospect Church. Mrs. Kelly was born
and spent most of her life in Newton County, where she has a host of friends
and many relatives. She is survived by three sons, D. F. Owens of Tampa, Fla.,
W. H. and B. Kelly of Monticello.
  Services were held by Rev. Underwood of Monticello and interment was in
Prospect Cemetery.
  J. C. Harwell and Son, funeral directors of Covington, were in charge.
