Her body was brought to Covington for burial and laid to rest in the family section of the old cemetery, on June 2nd. She was a lady of education and refinement and for a long time taught a private school at her home in this city. She died from consumption. Wherever known Miss Emma King was dearly beloved and highly esteemed. Several weeks before her death she had a family monument placed over the graves of her parents and kindred who were buried here.
