Georgia Enterprise, June 9, 1898
  Miss Emma King departed this life in Atlanta, on May 31st. Her body was 
brought to Covington for burial and laid to rest in the family section of the
old cemetery, on June 2nd. She was a lady of education and refinement and for 
a long time taught a private school at her home in this city. She died from
consumption. Wherever known Miss Emma King was dearly beloved and highly
esteemed. Several weeks before her death she had a family monument placed over
the graves of her parents and kindred who were buried here.
