S. J. King Dies Rev. S. J. King, widely known Baptist preacher, died in Atlanta yesterday after a long and painful illness, at the age of 65 years and eleven months. He was buried today at noon at High Point. The services were conducted by Rev. J. B. Gresham of Redan in accordance with an agreement made years ago that the survivor of the pact should officiate at the other’s funeral. Mr. King left besides his son, Rev. John King, of Covington, three other sons, E. P., of Juliette, J. S. and S. T., of Atlanta and one daughter, Mrs. I. L. Parker of East Point, his widow and eight grandchildren. Mr. King was noted for his sincere Christian character and his great zeal for the gospel.
