Georgia Enterprise, April 14, 1898
  Mrs. John Lassiter, one of the oldest and best ladies in Newton county died
at the home of Mr. James Parker, in Brewer's District on Saturday. Her body
was buried in the Holly Spring Cemetery Sunday.
