Atlanta Constitution, 5 January 1870
Death of Judge William Luckie-
A telegraphic dispatch received in Atlanta this morning, announced the death of 
Judge William Luckie, in Alabama.  Judge Luckie has been Ordinary of Newton 
county for many years, and is the father of Mrs. O. H. Jones, and W. D. Luckie, 
of this city.  His remains are expected here to-morrow, and he will be buried 
at Covington on Thursday or Friday with Masonic honors.
