B. Lewis The death of Mrs. Ella V. Lewis, wife of Mr. Joseph B. Lewis, of this city, came as a shock to their many friends Thursday morning, she died at 6:30 o'clock after a very short illness, being taken ill on Sunday. The cause of her death being pneumonia. Mrs. Lewis was a consistent member of the Methodist church from early childhood. She was about fifty one years of age and is survived by her husband, six children, one brother and two sisters. The children are, Mrs. E. J. Rossman, of Scotdale, and E. H. Lewis, Jas B. Lewis Jr., Walter R. Lewis, Miss Emma Lewis and Miss Ollie Lewis, of Covington. The brother, Mr. J. F. Dabney, resides in Cleveland, Tex. The two sisters are Mrs. W. C. Salter, of Leguin and Mrs. Emma J. Phillips, of Atlanta. The funeral services have not been announced but will probably be held from the house and the interrment at High Point.
