  On Sunday last December the 8th, Aunt Betsy Lazenby, well known to many of 
the people and probably the oldest white woman in this county, died at the 
home of her husband, Uncle Flave Lazenby, near Carmel church. She had been
very feeble a long time. She was near a hundred years old. She leaves a number
of friends and relatives to mourn her death, but all feel she is now at rest.
Her aged husband has our deepest sympathy.
