Georgia Enterprise, Nov. 5, 1896
  Mr. William Lummus departed this life at his home in Rocky Plains district
one day last week. Aged about 96 years. He was a popular and useful citizen
whose long life was devoted to making those about him comfortable and happy.
He leaves many relatives and friends to cherish his precious memory.
