Mr. J. H. Livingston Dead
  Mr. Joseph H. Livingston, a  pioneer citizen and one of the best known 
gentlemen of this city died at his home in Midway early Tuesday morning after
and illness of several months. Mr. Livingston, was 82 years of age, and had been
a resident of this place nearly all his life he was an ex-confederate soldier,
and admired by his acquaintances.
  He is survived by four children, Misses Fannie and May Livingston, of 
Covington; Mrs. Jennie Conley, of Atlanta, and Mr. Bert Livingston.
  The funeral services, were conducted from the residence and the remains 
interred in the cemetery at Oxford on Wednesday.
