     At her mother's residence in Newton county, October 23rd, 1873, Miss LEE
ANN SARAH JANE LUNSFORD, aged 24 years. She was kind, gentle and affectionate,
ever striving to please and to make happy those around her. Her presence was the
light and sunshine of her home; and now that she is gone, a dark shadow has 
fallen upon the hearts of all who knew her. Here was a true and genuine piety,
and her early death was but the _______upon a higher, brighter and happier life
above the stars, where there shall be no more sickness and death.  A Friend
