The Covington News, December 31, 1926
Mr. McCart Dies
     Mr. Augustus P. McCart died at the Georgia Baptist Hospital, December 23, 
in Atlanta. The remains were shipped in his old home at Covington and interment 
was made at the Leverette cemetery on the following day, the services being in 
charge of Rev. Walker Combs. He was by occupation superintendent of an oil mill 
and had many friends and kinfolks in this section.
