DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Mrs. S. P. MCELROY died at the home of her husband at Huntersville, N. C. 
on July 30th. Aged 32 years. She was born and raised in Newton County and was a 
most excellent lady. Being kind and benevolent to all. She was a sister of Mr. 
S. M. SULLIVAN, who reached North Carolina in time to attend the funeral 
service.
