DIED
     On the evening of the 26th inst., at his residence near Newborn, Newton 
County, Ga. Elder JAMES MONTGOMERY, aged about 79 years.
     No Man ever commanded higher respect and esteem from all who knew him. He 
had been a worthy member of the Primitive Baptist Church for more than half a 
century, during a great portion of which he was an ordained preacher. He died 
in the full assurance of that faith which had sustained him in life.
