By this stroke the fond parents, relatives and friends are stricken with grief, but their sorrow should be assuaged by the thought that he has been taken from the suffering and temptation of this sin-cursed earth and transplanted in the Garden of God, where all is beauty and joy forever. “Ere sin could blight or sorrow fade, Death came with friendly care, The opening but to Heaven conveyed, And bade it blossom there.” A Friend The Georgia Enterprise, April 6, 1900 The infant babe of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Moore, of Leguin, was buried at Acock’s Shop Cemetery on Friday.
