Mrs. McHugh Funeral Rites Held at Salem

     Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie McHugh of Route 2, Salem Community, 
Covington, were held Thursday, May 3 at 4 p. m. at Salem Methodist Church with 
Rev. S. J. Hull and Rev. Carl Standard, officiating. Interment was in Salem 
Cemetery, churchyard.
     Mrs. McHugh age 83, died Wednesday, May 2 at her home. She was born in 
Henry County.
     Survivors include two brothers, D. W. Thompson and R. W. Thompson and one 
sister, Mrs. Rosie Johnson, all of Covington.
     The remains lay in state at the church from 3:30 until the funeral hour.
Serving as pallbearers were Dorsey Thompson, Ernest Johnson, Edward Thompson,
J. W. Thompson, Murdock Thompson.


Additional Comments:
Mary (Mollie) Thompson McHugh was the daughter of William J. and Octavia Rape
Thompson. Mollie was born 1872 in Henry County, Georgia.
