F. Maddox, in this city, after an illness extending over two years. She had been steadily sinking for about one week, and it was understood that she could not recover. Mrs. Maddox was 63 years of age, and had been a life long and consistent member of the Baptist church. She had hosts of warm friends over the county all of whom join with her bereaved children and other loved ones in deepest sorrow. Mrs. Maddox leaves two sons and two daughters, T. F. Maddox, deputy sheriff, this city, W. J. Maddox, Eastman; Mrs. W. R. Mayo, Starrsville, Mrs. H. M. Parker, Stewart. The interment was at Red Oak church, on Thursday afternoon.
