Georgia Enterprise, October 7, 1897
DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Doctor P. S. M. Maxey departed this life at his home near Covington on 
Sunday night, Oct. 3rd, ‘97. He had been sick for several weeks. He leaves a 
wife and many relatives and friends to lament his death. Aged about 32 years. 
Dr. Maxey was a kind hearted man and the news of his death will be read with 
sorrow by all who knew him.
