The Georgia Enterprise, May 19, 1899 
Death of a Little Girl
     Little Irene McDonald, the three year old girl of Mr. Hawk McDonald, died 
Wednesday morning last. Little Irene had been sick but a few hours and the 
death was a great shock to the parents. She was taken sick
Tuesday morning and died the next day. She was a bright happy child and loved 
by every one who came in contact with her.
     In the death of Little Irene, we extend sympathies to the bereaved family.
