DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Mr. JOHN NOLEN, son  of Dr. W. S. NOLEN, died at Porterdale one day last 
week. He was a fine specimen of healthy manhood and the news of his death was a 
shock to his many friends in this county. He had been living at Porterdale for 
sometime and himself and family were well pleased with their new home. All is 
grief and sadness now, where joy and happiness so recently presided. We tender 
our sympathy to the family and relatives in their time of bereavement over the 
untimely death of their loved one.
