E. L. OSBORN One of the saddest deaths that ever occurred in this city was that of Mrs. E. L. Osborn, which transpired at the home of her husband, on Sunday night, June 19. Her baby had already died, and everything possible was done to save the life of this good and noble lady. Mrs. Osborn was a daughter of Mr. R. M. Everitt, and was a true and devoted Christian. She was a loyal member of the Methodist church and for a long time was a leading member of the choir. About 18 months ago she was married to Mr. Edward L. Osborn, who is one of the best men in Covington. Her unexpected death brought sorrow to the hearts and homes of all who knew her. She leaves many relatives and friends to lament her untimely death. The sympathies of all our people go out to friend Osborn in the time of his bitter grief and deep sorrow, over the departure of her who was all the world to him.
