DEATH’S SAD ROLL
     Mr. Alva A. O’Kelly, so well and favorably known here, died of fever in 
Little Rock, Ark., several days since.  His remains were brought home and 
interred in the family cemetery near Walnut Grove. To the grief stricken mother 
and relatives we tender our sympathy. May he sleep sweetly. Only a few months 
ago he left Covington in the best of health and with bright prospect before 
him, and in the bloom of a promising young manhood he is cut down. Truly, in 
the midst of life we are in death.
