Funeral Held For James Z. Thompson
  Funeral services for James Zachry Thompson, 59 year old Covington
resident, who died in a veterans hospital Monday after a lingering illness,
were conducted from the Salem Church yesterday by the Rev. W. H. Ruff. 
Burial was in the Salem Campground Cemetery.
  Mr. Thompson was a native of Henry County. He is survived by two 
brothers, Dave M. Thompson and Raymond W. Thompson both of Covington, and
two sisters, Mrs. Bart McCue and Mrs. Earnest Johnson, both of Covington.
  The NEWS extends sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
J. C. Harwell & Son funeral directors were in charge of funeral arrangements.

Additional Comments:
James Zachry Thompson is a son of William J. and Octavia Rape Thompson.
James served in WW1
