Death of Luther Powell
  Mr. Luther Powell of Porterdale died at the residence of his son Walter
Powell, Dec. 31 at the age of 70. He was greatly respected by all who knew
him. The remains were shipped to his old home in Graniteville where the
services were held. 
  J. C. Harwell and Son, Covington funeral directors were in charge.
