A. Woodis died at her home at Bishop Monday morning at 6 o'clock after an illness of several months. She was 68 years of age, and if she had lived two days longer it would have been her 48th marriage anniversary. Mrs. Woodis was a consecrated Christian and her whole life was devoted to her master. She was known to a large circle of friends all over the state and to know her was but to love her. She leaves a husband, five daughters and two sons, Mrs. J. E. Hightower, of Covington; Mrs. G. W. Hamlin, of Charleston; Mrs. J. M. Mayo, of Bishop; Mrs. J. R. Jackson, of Bishop; Mrs. S. Branch, of Farmington; Messrs J. J. and W. A. Woodis.
