She had been sick for many months and while her death was expected it was nevertheless a shock to the family and her most intimate friends, who knew her but to love her. She was eighty-three years of age last September and identified with the Methodist church since earlychildhood. Her remains were taken to Salem Camp ground and interred Friday. She is survived by seven children, J. N. Woodruff, of McDonough, B. H. Woodruff, of Porterdale and Geo. W. Woodruff, of Covington, Mrs. Josie Mabry, of Athens, Mrs. Lizzie Middlebrooks, of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Mattie Meador, of Leguin and Mrs. Mollie Avery, of Rocky Plains.
